September Book Haul

***Looking for places to get cheaper books? Interested in book subscription boxes? Here are some links!: Amazon, Book Depository, 2nd and Charles, Books-A-Million, Book Outlet, Thrift Books, Bookcase Club, Quarterly***

Hey bookworms! Welcome to our September book haul! Let’s get started!
Krista: This month I only bought a few books from Books-A-Million. What I love about this bookstore is that it shares owners with 2nd and Charles. If you don’t know what 2nd and Charles is, it’s my favorite place on earth! It is the 2nd hand bookstore where I get the majority of my books from. I always find great copies anywhere from $1.00-$5.00. Books-A-Million is great too because they have certain sections where they have NEW books for 2nd and Charles prices. All of the books in this Haul (except for The Book Thief) were around $3.00. I just love sharing and finding out about places where you can get inexpensive books because reading can be such an expensive hobby. Anyway, Let’s get into the haul!!!!!

First off, my wonderful boyfriend got me this Young Moana Funko Pop for my bookshelf this month! I love Moana, and have been wanting this figure forever!!

Now onto the books!

Books A Million (This bookstore is an affiliate of 2nd and Charles.)

  • If you follow our blog a lot, you may know that I read The Book Thief by: Markus Zusak earlier this year, and it is now my favorite book of all time! No other book has ever made me feel the way The Book Thief did. If you want to check out our reviews for this book you can click on our Spoiler Free Review or our Spoilery Discussion. Anyway, although I already have a copy of this book, I couldn’t pass up this edition when I saw it in Books-A-Million!!
  • Right of Way by: Lauren Barnholdt

Dawlyn: I had a great haul this month! Let’s get into it!

Bookcase Club (This is a monthly subscription box in which you receive two books in each  time. It’s $9.99 and the books you get are a surprise and based on the genre you choose!)

I don’t know much about either of these books but I’m glad to have been able to add these to my shelf and I hope to pick them up in the future

Books A Million

  • This Savage Song by: Victoria Schwab. I’ve been dying to read one of VIctoria/VE Shwab’s books! Though I probably won’t get the chance to do so this year, I definitely plan to in 2018, so I had to pick this up!
  • Illuminae by: Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I’m hoping to read this book book this month and I’ve been looking for a paperback copy of this book forever so I’m happy to have found it!
  • Lair of Dreams by: Libba Bray. This is the second book in the Diviners series which I hope to read next year! I own the first book so I was happy to find this for only $3.
  • The Coldest Girl In Coldtown by: Holly Black. I don’t know much about this book but I do have another book by this author and I’ve heard great things about her books.

Amazon (These books are cheaper than in store and we get free shipping through Amazon Prime!)

  • The Raven Boys by: Maggie Stiefvater. I read most of this book in September but I finished it at the start of October so I’ll talk about it in this month’s Wrap-Up!
  • The Female of the Species by: Mindy McGinnis. I read this book this month and I absolutely LOVED IT!! I can’t wait to review this soon!

Book Depository (These books are also cheaper than in store, and they offer free shipping worldwide!)

six of crows

  • Six of Crows by: Leigh Bardugo. I hoped to get to this book in September but I didn’t get the chance to so I hope to this month!

Dawlyn & Krista:

Books A Million

We read Two Way Street by: Lauren Barnholdt in high school, and absolutely loved it! This month we saw quite a few Lauren Barnholdt books here for like $3.00, and both decided to pick some up. Here are the books we got:

Thanks for taking the time out to read our post! We’d love to know if you’ve read any of these books and how you liked them! We’d also love to hear what books you hauled in September! Let us know in the comments!
